The maples in Providence Canyon have turned. I spent most of this ride on trails buried in red, orange and pink leaves, with the limestone cliffs above the canyon sitting under a flat grey sky.

I climbed Spring Creek three times and linked it up with Hard Carl’s, the Upper Figure 8’s and Welches before dropping back down through the Providence DH, Gretel and Late for Church. That added up to almost 2,800 feet of climbing on the Ripmo.
