I rode the Ripmo up the Jardine route, past the bench and onto the shady-side climb before heading down toward the tree. Red and orange leaves lined the singletrack, with dark evergreens across the canyon and open views of the ridges above.

On the way back down, the route wound through bright pockets of color and stretches of fallen leaves before returning to the creek crossings.
