I rode back into Providence Canyon, linking the Spring Creek climb with laps around the upper loops before heading down the canyon. There were still patches of yellow and orange in the trees, but plenty of the autumn color was already under the tires. In places, fallen leaves covered the singletrack from edge to edge.
