I rode the Ripmo up Green Canyon from the parking lot, climbing the gravel and the singletrack sections past the post and the trough to the wilderness sign, then turned around and came back down the same way.

The canyon was full of color. Red maples lined the lower trail, yellow aspens and dark pines took over higher up, and long stretches of the singletrack were covered in fallen leaves under a clear blue sky. With this much to look at, it was a day to take fall slow.
