I rode into Providence Canyon, linking the Grandview approach with Canyon Road, Spring Creek and the climb toward the rock quarry. Red and yellow leaves covered long stretches of trail, with bright branches overhead and patches of blue sky between them.

Above the woods, the view opened across the canyon’s colorful slopes. The photos caught water spilling over mossy rock at the falls before the route returned through the trees on the descent.
