I took the Ripmo up Green Canyon toward the wilderness boundary and back down the singletrack. The trail passed between white aspen trunks and beneath branches still holding red and yellow leaves.

Fallen leaves covered the shaded stretches, while openings in the trees brought views of the canyon slopes under a blue sky. The return followed the upper descent and lower trail sections back toward the parking lot.
