I rode the Logan River Trail through a mix of green, yellow, orange and red leaves. The route took me past Stokes Nature Trail, through the river trail switchbacks and toward Third Dam and First Fork.

Along the way, the trail changed from a broad, shaded path beside the water to rocky stretches beneath bright autumn trees. Higher up, the view opened across Logan Canyon, with patches of red on the hillsides and the road winding below.
