Get Off My Trail
Sunshine filled days have been rare this October so when they roll around I am compelled to visit the mountains. The air grows ever colder but the trails are as sweet as ever. The ride – Providence Canyon
With a hint of chill the Ripmo and I rode into Providence Canyon to breathe in the waining smells of the fallen colors of Autumn. The beauty of the trees littered the ground forming a bright yellow road perfect for a few hours away from the desk. The ride – Providence Canyon
Rain is coming and I missed a lap yesterday. Today I couldn’t bear to part with the mountain and so the Ripmo and I ran an extra lap. Carpe Diem and all that. I might not be able to walk tomorrow but the Ripmo is always ready for one more. The ride – Providence Canyon
With the sun shining and the crisp chill of Fall on the air the Ripmo and I set out seeking the perfect Autumn ride. The temperature was perfect, the Ripmo was perfect, the trail was perfect, I was less perfect. Whipping down the BJ’s on my first run I came across a patch of greasy trail torn up by horse hooves which resulted some unanticipated

The perfect day to ride the perfect trail. The temperature couldn’t have been better. The Ripmo couldn’t have ridden better. The colors couldn’t have been more spectacular. Welcome to the greatest show on earth where the price of admission is the lungs and quads to make the climb. The ride – Jardine Juniper
The crisp air of Fall contrasted with the heat of an afternoon sun. My toes are still thawing out. They’ll thaw out. The colors of Autumn deserve every second that can be spent in the woods. The Ripmo was feeling especially aggressive today and the dirt was especially perfect allowing for a symphony of color, air and ripping. Now that we’ve worked out our issues
After running out of time and ending up on Zwift yesterday I committed to setting aside the time to ride Providence today. The breath of Fall in the air contrasted with the hot sweat dripping from my helmet. The air was clear, the Ripmo was aggressive, my legs were weak. That last bit sucked and was totally my fault but my first loop had some
