Get Off My Trail

I bought my first mountain bike (as an adult) back in 2008. It was a Santa Cruz Blur XC. This loop was my first ride. The trail is way more rutted and chunky now. My perspective on what makes a good trail has changed and this was not my favorite but for the sake of nostalgia it was totally worth the time. The ride –
Ran into Jake. He used to live in my neighborhood. I remember him as a young kid but that memory is wrong. He is a kick your butt rider that climbs like a mountain goat. Always fun to see cool people on the trail! The ride – Providence Canyon, Utah The bike – Ripmo
The hills are filled with wildflowers right now. I love the tiny bits of color that dot the mountains this time of year. The ride – Providence, Utah, United States The bike – Bianchi Cavaria
Another ride where I told myself I’d go to Paradise but then the zen of the hum of the tires against the asphalt calm my soul and I keep going and end up at Porcupine. The ride – Paradise, Utah. The bike – TIME VRS Fluidity
Bren was up for a ride today so we ventured up Green Canyon together. He made it all the way to the top with a pretty reasonable pace. The ride – Green Canyon, Utah The bike – Ripmo
Pushed Devin to the top of Jardine. The views are worth every moment of pain. The ride – Jardine Juniper Trail The bike – Ripmo
Heaven is the moments we spend on mountain bikes. The ride – Providence Canyon, Utah The bike – Ripmo
Took it easy today. Legs are pretty burned up. The ride – Providence, Utah, United States The bike – Bianchi Cavaria
I knew I wanted to ride Millville canyon this morning. It’s the most brutal of all the local trails in terms of elevation gain. I made it. I found snow. It’s up there. The ride – Millville Canyon, UT The bike – Ripmo
