Morning storms pushed me to do a lunch ride. The sweat dripping from my helmet reminded me that early morning summer rides are more pleasant and humidity 100% affects performance. The Forrest Service was hard at work putting in a new bridge and refurbishing the trail. The placement of the new bridge is going to mess up the trail flow but maybe that’s intended. The

Did my favorite dam ride. On the way down I was thinking about Remco Evenepoel’s gold medal win in men’s cycling and how at the end he got a flat and still won. That’s pretty awesome. Then I was thinking about how I haven’t had a single flat this year and what a pain flats are and how I should probably get new tires soon
