Just got back from a week long trip to Maui. I left the Ripmo in the shop while I was gone and so it was ready to get out. I was ready to bathe in the Fall colors which are now in full display. Green Canyon did not disappoint. The ride – Green Canyon The bike – Ibis Ripmo
The bitter chill in the air keeps me off my road bike in the late Fall. Similar justifications apply to the cross bike. However, in the name of variety I pulled out the Bianchi and all my cold weather gear and headed to Logan canyon. The consequence for any speed above 20mph was a distinct loss of feeling in my fingers and a deep bite
With a hint of chill the Ripmo and I rode into Providence Canyon to breathe in the waining smells of the fallen colors of Autumn. The beauty of the trees littered the ground forming a bright yellow road perfect for a few hours away from the desk. The ride – Providence Canyon
Like a Las Vegas buffet the colors of Green Canyon fill you with an overwhelming visual gluttony. Indulge in this sensory feast. Move ten feet and fill your soul with the colors of Autumn. Although highly distracting from the traditional thrills of mountain biking Fall in these canyons deserves a few moments of visual consumption as the mind’s eye preserves a record to be cherished
