Sea of gold

I saw another rider do this loop on Strava. I had heard rumors of the wildflowers so I wanted to follow in their footsteps. This was to be a slightly technical climb with mind blowing visual rewards. Way down we go

It’s funny how photos never capture elevation changes. That is a ten foot drop into a ravine that is part of the upper loop in Providence. It’s fun. This morning I managed 59:30 from my house to the very top of the trail just below the old quarry. It nearly killed me. My legs complained on every subsequent loop. I wouldn’t trade it.
