The day grew darker and darker as I rode, the sun disappearing behind the Spring snow. The sun a distant memory, my abilities a distant memory, and with pain in my legs and butt my only companion I rode and I finished a tortoise enduring to the end rather than a hare sprinting to the finish. Some days you live the dream where you run

Finished the Tour of Watopia today. Most years I never finish it because Spring riding has usually started. There are brave souls on the road but I was waiting for the snow to disappear. I did warm up a bit in Yorkshire. The ride – Zwift The bike – Trek Madone 6.9
