I tried pushing it just a bit today and managed to score a PR on the upper suffer circles. At the top of the trail there was a youth group with bikes, helmets, bags and people spread everywhere. I know that crowded trails can become a problem but I love to see people get out into the outdoors. I think it makes us all better.

A crazy day of meetings and general work meant I didn’t ride until evening. I can’t complain the temperature was in the 70s and even though the trail was a bit busier than if you hit in in the early hours there wasn’t a terrible amount of congestion. Took and evening ride with Devin. We had a great time. He was climbing hard. We got to the top and his front tire was totally deflated. The sealant had dried out leaving him with a slow leak. Luckily, another ride lent us a pump. He managed to get half way down but was robbed from the full downhill experience when the front tire finally
With a lot of clouds, a bit of cold and a touch of wind I headed out for a couple of loops in Providence Canyon. Felt good so I kept riding loops. The Ripmo really likes the current trail conditions. Also, while flying down the trails I hit a fairly large bee with my front tooth. That is a strange experience. I had heard rumors of new dirt and I had seen the Strava evidence. Undeterred by the E-bike labels I determined to make a loop up Providence and then take a slight detour to check out the fabled new route with my own eyes.
