Dying on Zwift
The weather was looking better today but I felt like punishing myself with the 3R group on Zwift. I quickly fell far behind but I finished. The ride – Zwift The bike – Trek Madone 6.9 on a Wahoo Kickr Smart Trainer

I keep thinking I’ll put my Zwift subscription on hold and then it pours rain and gets cold. We need the water and the rain keeps the trails from turning into a dusty mess so I won’t complain. The ride – Zwift The bike – Trek Madone 6.9
My brain knew the morning schedule was going to be tight and woke me up plenty early in the morning for me to try to blow up my heart on the suffer circles. It doesn’t happen often but I ran across another guy on a star destroyer grey Ripmo. The ride – Providence Canyon The bike – Ibis Ripmo
A morning ride in Logan Canyon never disappoints. With perfect dirt and wildflowers in bloom I could have spent the day wandering up and down the extraordinary hills of this amazing place. The ride – Logan River Trail The bike – Bianchi Cavaria
Rode a few suffer circles and then took a short jaunt down the shoreline trail. Had a bit of blurred vision and euphoria during the ride that left me less than accurate in the technical bits. Evening ride with my wife and sons. The ride – Logan River Trail The bike – Ibis Ripmo
Had serious leg crams last night as my quads and hamstring got revenge for what I put them through on the MTB. Today we compromised and took a recovery ride to Paradise. The sun shone, the temperature was a perfect 70 degrees and there was but a gentile breeze. It’s hard to pick better road bike days. If it wasn’t for meetings and complaining legs
I tried pushing it just a bit today and managed to score a PR on the upper suffer circles. At the top of the trail there was a youth group with bikes, helmets, bags and people spread everywhere. I know that crowded trails can become a problem but I love to see people get out into the outdoors. I think it makes us all better.
