Bruised But Not Beaten to the Ends of the Road Go I

My muscles are still feeling the effects of their encounter with the dirt. The bruises have changed colors. The soreness isn’t a big deal but it keeps me from really pushing hard as my knees don’t feel awesome. It was perfect morning for a ride with no wind on the way out and just a bit of wind in my face on the way back

Morning sun in South Canyon

Though I ride through the Valley of Cache and the wind be my kryptonite I shall not whine (very much)

Summery morning road bike rides in Cache Valley are beautiful and the perfect temperature. The wind does ruin the serenity from time to time and my time this morning reflects that. Seeking Solitude

This is a crank rant. Read at your own peril. <crank> Some days I hate people. Not anyone person, just all people. The thought of interacting with another human is exhausting. After hanging on the wall and watching the Ripmo go

Recovering From Old Age

I usually wake up to the first rays of the morning sun breaking over the mountains to the East. It’s a pleasant way to start the day. This morning I was awoken by a burning sensation under my right shoulder blade and a numb hand. Mountain biking, body is fine. Paddleboarding I’m fine. Apparently sleeping through the night is my biggest physical challenge. I took

Time to ride the Time

After a weekend of celebrating my freedom to eat junk food I woke up and found myself visibly more portly in my race club jersey. Needing to pay penance for my poor food choices I mounted my Time Fluidity to chase the morning sun and avoid the heat prophesied by my Garmin’s “extreme heat alert” warning. I mostly beat the wind on my way to
