Had morning meetings so I couldn’t get out in the wee hours of the morning. I paid for the delay with copious quantities of sweat. Rode a few suffer circles and then took a short jaunt down the shoreline trail. Had a bit of blurred vision and euphoria during the ride that left me less than accurate in the technical bits. Beautiful Friday morning ride up Jardine Juniper. The start of the trail trail is a bit of chaos at the start while they move things around. I tried pushing it just a bit today and managed to score a PR on the upper suffer circles. At the top of the trail there was a youth group with bikes, helmets, bags and people spread everywhere. I know that crowded trails can become a problem but I love to see people get out into the outdoors. I think it makes us all better.

A crazy day of meetings and general work meant I didn’t ride until evening. I can’t complain the temperature was in the 70s and even though the trail was a bit busier than if you hit in in the early hours there wasn’t a terrible amount of congestion.
