Undeterred by the E-bike labels I determined to make a loop up Providence and then take a slight detour to check out the fabled new route with my own eyes. Today’s ride was beautiful with a few moments of carefully guiding the Ripmo through the landmines left without thought or care by our equestrian friends. Some days don’t turn out the way you think it will. With blue skies and nice temperatures on a November day I thought I’d do my typical ride – 4 loops and a couple of hours. I need to buy lights. The time change means it now gets dark at 5pm. Still real dirt and mud and cold make for a great way to spend the waning moments of the day. There was a bit of grease here and there but overall a bit of time on a real bike in real dirt made me feel like a real boy again.
