I’m not a morning person. However, the early start of my son’s school has forced me to get out of bed. As the days shorten that means I am hitting the trails before the sun has come up over the mountains. Just as I started the first rays of the morning sun kissed the canyon walls. As it did I get feel the heat on my skin and clumps of warm air blew into my face. Record heat has haunted this September and so I was glad that the rest of the ride would be indirectly lit and therefore much cooler – perfect really.

My Garmin took the morning off and spent the entire ride letting me know that it was a Garmin.

The ride – Green Canyon
The bike – Ibis Ripmo
